Which teacher appreciation card site is best?

  • A parent representative collecting class thanks

Thankbox is worth asking for a school quote. Start with the number of teachers, then decide whether the class is also funding a gift.

  • A card to hand over at assembly

GroupGreeting includes a PDF copy for the recipient. Arrange access to that copy before planning a printed handover.

  • A filmed goodbye for a retiring teacher

Kudoboard Premium accepts video posts. Milestone adds slideshow playback if the school wants to show it during a gathering.

  • Colleague cards managed by the school office

tbf work schedules cards from entered dates. Keep the staff occasion list separate from a card parents organise for one class.

Four teacher appreciation card sites

We publish this comparison as the makers of tbf work. Other sites may fit your school better, particularly where you need a printout or a video.

One class is not one recipient

Count people receiving a card, then estimate contributions. A class of thirty may create several cards or a single busy board.

Keep class contributions organised

Give one adult the organiser role.

For a card involving pupils, use the school's agreed process for sharing photographs or recordings and check what the teacher can receive before collecting files from families.

First names can be enough.

Parents can contribute without putting the class register on the card; invite only the people involved and avoid sharing private details about other children.

Share within the class.

Questions

Which teacher appreciation card website offers school discounts?

Thankbox says it offers additional discounts to schools. Ask for a quote, because its pricing page does not state the discount percentage.

Can we get a printable teacher appreciation card?

GroupGreeting lists a downloadable PDF, and Thankbox lists PDF downloads. Check how the organiser will obtain the copy before arranging an assembly handover.

Does one card cover several teachers?

Plan separate cards if each teacher should receive their own messages. On tbf work, one card is one recipient and one occasion.

Which site works for a class video card?

Kudoboard Premium and Thankbox Premium both list videos. Follow the school's process for pupil recordings before inviting contributions.
