What is a group card for work?
One online card the whole team signs, for a birthday, a work anniversary or a leaving day. The dates come from BambooHR or the ones you add, and the card goes out on the day.

An automated check holds threats, abuse, spam and scams before they reach the card. It does not write or rewrite messages.

Which occasions?
Birthdays, work anniversaries, leaving, welcomes and project wrap-ups. You can also add your own occasion. Birthdays and work anniversaries repeat each year.
Who reads the messages?
The recipient. Settings can open other occasion cards to colleagues. Welcome and project cards stay private. Their organisers see delivery states only.
What if somebody was let go?
The card is held until an admin releases it, and you can turn that off. We never store why anyone left.
Do contributors or recipients need an account?
No. They sign and read in a browser. A company account is needed to manage recurring dates, integrations and company plans.
Can colleagues in different countries use it?
Yes. Colleagues write through a browser link, wherever they work. The recipient reads through a browser too.
How long is the card available?
The browser link lasts 90 days after the occasion. Export a PDF from the card’s View menu before it expires.
How are welcome and project cards charged?
A welcome uses one card. A project uses one card per recipient. Your existing balance or plan applies. Empty cards are returned to your prepaid balance.
Who is tbf work for?
HR teams, office managers and team leads organising employee appreciation, birthdays, work anniversaries, leaving cards, welcomes and project thank-yous.
Which integrations are available?
Slack and BambooHR. Add dates and invite people by email without either. Microsoft Teams sharing uses a browser link; there is no native Teams or Workday integration.
How many people can sign a card?
Up to 200 contributors per card. Each has three messages by default, up to 2,000 characters each. The writing page shows their remaining allowance.
What can we customise?
Choose the occasion and card style. Set the date and contributors in the dashboard. Everyone writes their own message. No message is suggested, generated or rewritten.
Do you offer subscriptions or prepaid cards?
Yes. Use prepaid cards without a subscription, or choose a monthly or yearly company plan. Plans include a card allowance; extra cards are charged separately. See the pricing page.
Can we get invoices and manage company billing?
Admins manage billing and invoices through the billing page. Company prices exclude VAT. The pricing page lists monthly and yearly plans, allowances and extra-card costs.
Do you offer gifts, reward points or engagement scores?
Gift collections, physical gifts and reward points are not currently offered. The dashboard shows card delivery states. Private messages are not turned into employee scores.
What happens when someone declines?
They can decline through their invitation. They are not sent further reminders for that card. The manager chooses the invitation list before sending.
Can colleagues add photos, GIFs and video?
Photos and GIFs can accompany work-card messages. Company occasion cards do not include video films. The separate no-account card maker supports video clips.
