Employee birthday cards.
For a small team.

For twelve employee birthday cards a year, tbf work packs can cost less than its Team plan. Compare Thankbox for a gift collection, GroupGreeting for a PDF, and Kudoboard Premium for video.

Count anniversaries and leavers too. A twelve-person business sending only birthday cards has a different bill from one marking every colleague's start date as well.

A 12-person business: count occasions first

These are examples at tbf work's published card rates, before VAT. They are usage budgets, not quotes for a particular pack purchase.

Keep the birthday list small

Ask who wants a birthday card.

Record the day and month for people who agree, then give one administrator responsibility for checking dates when somebody joins or leaves the business.

Do not guess a missing birthday.

For twelve colleagues, a card pack may cost less than a yearly plan even when the plan advertises a lower price per card. Compare the total you will actually pay.

Pay for the occasions you use.

  • Balloons. We tied them to the gate. The gate looks festive.
  • Cheers. Clink it like you mean it. Happy birthday, you.
  • Marker lettering with a highlighter stroke. Happy birthday from all of us. Some of us signed it twice.
  • An office chair. Happy birthday. Put your feet up. Not on the desk.
  • Marker lettering with a highlighter stroke. Happy birthday. We've eaten your cake already.
  • A balloon, gone soft. Happy birthday. We blew this up this morning.
  • A pot plant. Happy birthday to whoever keeps the office plant alive.
  • Out with friends. Birthday coffee counts double. Those are the rules.
  • A wrapped present. Happy birthday from everyone. Some of us needed a reminder.
  • Wrapping scraps after a party. Happy birthday.

Questions

What are the best employee birthday cards for a small business?

Choose by the job: recurring dates, gift collection, a PDF or video. The four sites above serve those needs differently.

Can employee birthday cards send automatically?

tbf work Pay as you go repeats birthdays from dates you enter. Its Team plan adds dates from BambooHR.

Do we need a yearly plan for twelve employees?

Count your occasions first. Twelve birthdays use twelve cards, while adding annual work anniversaries doubles that number.

Are these prices in the same currency?

Three sites showed pounds and Kudoboard showed US dollars. Tax treatment also differs, so the table is not a converted cheapest-to-dearest ranking.
