Five questions for a card’s AI.
An AI label alone says little. Ask what goes into the check, what happens to its answer and which person can correct it.

Does it write the message?
In tbf work, no. The colleague writes and signs their own words. The check does not complete a sentence or turn a short message into a longer one.

What is it checking?
Threats, abuse, sexual content, spam and private details are among the checks. Flagged notes go to review rather than appearing on the recipient’s card.

Who can reverse a mistake?
Managers and admins can restore a company card’s flagged note before writing closes. A card bought without an account has a review area on the creator’s manage link.

What reaches the AI provider?
The note and its occasion are sent to TypeSafe. The request leaves out contributor names, recipient names and the codes that give access to the card.

What if the service is unavailable?
Writing still works. The system lets a note through when the check cannot answer, so moderation is a useful check rather than a promise that nothing harmful can appear.

Compare the behaviour with the claim. Read the sample, the moderation guide and the privacy notice before making the first card.
- Find out whether AI writes or checks.
- Identify the person who reviews flagged notes.
- Read what data goes to an outside provider.
- Check what happens if moderation is unavailable.
- Try one card before organising a wider rollout.

Company cards have a spam folder for managers and admins. On a card bought without an account, the creator reviews set aside notes through their manage link.
The limits are clear
AI can miss a note or flag one wrongly. If the check is unavailable, writing still works.

Pick a cover, name the recipient and choose when it opens. You can buy one card without a company account.

Share the writing link
Colleagues contribute in a browser. Each person writes and signs their own message.

They open it on the day
The messages arrive together in one card. The recipient reads it on their phone.
For repeated birthdays, work anniversaries, welcomes and leaving days, use a company account with Slack and BambooHR.
