CIPD Annual Conference 2026
Conference ideas compete with the work waiting when you return. Start with one occasion, one organiser and one team, then decide whether it belongs in your calendar.
Use a leaving day, birthday or work anniversary that is already due. A real recipient gives colleagues a reason to write without inventing a company campaign.
Invite people who know the recipient. A card from close colleagues is a clearer test than a company-wide request sent to people who have never worked together.
Read the sample before buying. Check how signed messages appear and how the recipient opens the card, rather than judging the idea from a list of features.
Check who can see flagged notes and who can restore one. On company cards, managers and admins review the spam folder before the card closes.
For regular occasions, look at Slack invitations and BambooHR dates. Use a company account if this becomes part of your normal process.
The organiser’s list
Give the pilot an owner and a date. Judge it by whether the intended people could contribute and the recipient received the card.
AI safety checks
The check looks for threats, abuse, sexual content, spam and exposed private details. Flagged notes are kept off the card for a person to review.
How the checks work ↗AI does not write, complete or rewrite a colleague’s message.
Company cards have a spam folder for managers and admins. On a card bought without an account, the creator reviews set aside notes through their manage link.
AI can miss a note or flag one wrongly. If the check is unavailable, writing still works.
Notes are sent to TypeSafe for the check. Names and card access codes are left out of that request.
Read the privacy notice ↗From an occasion to a card
Pick a cover, name the recipient and choose when it opens. You can buy one card without a company account.
Colleagues contribute in a browser. Each person writes and signs their own message.
The messages arrive together in one card. The recipient reads it on their phone.
For repeated birthdays, work anniversaries, welcomes and leaving days, use a company account with Slack and BambooHR.
